the barrington arms is in a convenient spot, making it a great base for exploring the cotswolds. we stayed in the barrington suite, perfect for our family with young kids and a dog. the staff were super friendly and helpful, especially when we needed assistance. plus, parking was easy since there’s plenty at the back.

The Beautiful Double Room features a modern shower that is efficient and refreshing, giving a solid start to the day. Located in a charming village, the hotel resonates with an old coaching inn vibe that pairs well with contemporary updates.
Be mindful that the layout includes some rooms accessible only via narrow stairs, which could cause a hassle for those with mobility issues. The ground-level rooms can trap heat, especially when the windows can't be left open due to proximity to the car park. The advertised dining options fell short with the kitchen unexpectedly closed during my stay, leaving only a pizza van as an alternative, which isn't ideal for a proper meal experience.

The breakfast at The Barrington Arms was a real treat, showcasing top-notch, locally sourced ingredients that left my taste buds dancing. I loved the great potential for this place, with a promising new management team that takes pride in their service.
I had a bit of a hiccup when I arrived. the kitchen was closed, and a pizza van was the only option. The room setup wasn't ideal, and wasn’t super cozy either, made worse by a lack of proper bedding.

Great family spot!
We had a fab time during our 2-night stay! The room was spacious for us, the kids, and our dog. Super handy location right on the high street. Tons of parking. Staff were super friendly too, which made things easier. Only downside was the room could've been a bit cleaner. solid experience and the bar area was nice for a drink.
